LTE / Fixed Wireless Internet Service Terms & Conditions

MHlophe Tech LTE (Fixed Wireless) internet services provide broadband connectivity over mobile and wireless networks. These services are subject to network coverage, capacity, and these terms in addition to the general Terms & Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Service Description

  • LTE services are delivered via mobile or fixed wireless network infrastructure.
  • Service quality is dependent on signal strength, tower congestion, and network availability in the area.
  • Speeds advertised are best-effort “up to” rates and are not guaranteed.

2. Coverage & Availability

  • Service availability is subject to LTE coverage in the customer’s location.
  • Signal quality may vary depending on distance from towers, obstructions, and environmental conditions.
  • MHlophe Tech does not guarantee continuous coverage or uninterrupted service.

3. Installation & Setup

  • Installation may include router configuration, SIM provisioning, and antenna alignment where required.
  • External antennas or signal boosters may be required in low-signal areas and may incur additional costs.
  • Installation lead times depend on stock availability and network provisioning timelines.

4. Equipment

  • LTE routers, SIM cards, or fixed wireless devices may be supplied or required depending on the package.
  • Supplied equipment remains the property of MHlophe Tech unless explicitly sold to the client.
  • Customers are responsible for safeguarding all equipment provided.

5. Speed & Performance

  • LTE speeds vary based on network congestion, signal strength, and tower load.
  • Performance may fluctuate significantly during peak usage hours.
  • No minimum speed guarantees are provided unless explicitly stated in the service package.

6. Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

  • LTE services may be subject to Fair Usage Policies depending on the package.
  • Excessive usage may result in throttling, shaping, or temporary speed reductions.
  • High-bandwidth activities may be deprioritised during network congestion.

7. Billing & Usage

  • Services are billed monthly in advance unless otherwise stated.
  • Data allocations reset at the beginning of each billing cycle.
  • Out-of-bundle usage may incur additional charges depending on the package type.

8. Network Management

  • Traffic shaping and prioritisation may be applied to maintain network stability.
  • Peer-to-peer (P2P), streaming, and large downloads may be deprioritised during peak periods.
  • MHlophe Tech reserves the right to manage traffic to ensure fair access for all users.

9. Service Interruptions

  • LTE services may be affected by weather conditions, tower maintenance, or network outages.
  • Outages or degraded performance caused by mobile network operators are outside MHlophe Tech’s control.
  • Temporary interruptions do not qualify for refunds unless otherwise specified.

10. Relocation

  • LTE services can generally be relocated within coverage areas, subject to re-provisioning.
  • Relocation outside coverage areas may require service cancellation and reapplication.

11. Cancellation

  • Cancellations must follow the standard cancellation policy unless otherwise specified.
  • Early termination fees may apply for contract-based LTE services.
  • All remaining data, balances, or unused allocations are forfeited upon cancellation.

12. Acceptable Use

  • Services may not be used for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
  • SIM abuse, network manipulation, or unauthorized tethering is prohibited where restricted.
  • MHlophe Tech reserves the right to suspend services for misuse or policy violations.

13. Amendments

MHlophe Tech may update LTE service terms, pricing, FUP thresholds, and technical conditions at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
